Welcome to the Delaware Military Museum.
Delaware has a story to tell of its uniformed servicemen and women. It is one of the only states in the nation that does not have a museum dedicated to its Soldiers, Sailors, Marines and Airmen. A dedicated group is out to rectify this oversight by establishing a place that recognizes the sacrifices of more than 350 years of service to Delaware and the nation.
Where is the museum located?
The Delaware Military Museum, Library, and Archive is co-located with the Mid County Senior Center at the Wilmington National Guard Readiness Center in the former Laura Little School, just off McKennan’s Church Road. The museum will be free and open to the public starting in April 2017.
We need your help.
Please join us in building a permanent monument to our servicemen and women. We’d like you on the team as a financial supporter, as a volunteer, or simply as a person interested in preserving Delaware’s Military Heritage.
